#3 Desert Spawn (164.15) over #5 Biloxi Hurricanes (112.29)
The Desert Spawn came back from losing both the final game of the season and a #2 seed to win it all! They tackled head on the team that beat them mercifully in week 6 and repaid the favor when it would count the most.
The 50 pt win came on the heels of sleeper stud D.Gerrards 32 pts and his Jax D who tallied 25. Not to be outdone the Spawns backfield tossed in a hefty 75 pts with E.James (21), J.Lewis (24), and F.Taylor (30) running wild on Sunday afternoon. Suprise wideout R.White rounded out the double digit scorers with 20. Scoring under the 10 pt total were H.Ward (7). TE T.Scheffler (5) and PK M.Crosby (1).
Unfortunately in competition with every winner there is a loser and for the second consecutive year the Biloxi Hurricanes would fill that role. The pesimist willt say its an even more unfortunate loss considering its two in a row but the opptimist will point out that reaching the championship game twice in a row may be a harder feat to achieve than winning it.
That may be little consolation for a 'Canes squad that produced only 4 double digit scorers. Leading the way were the running back tandem of A.Peterson(Chi) and L.Tomlinson who scored 31 and 30 pts respectively while the NE D/ST added 26. The threes combined total of 87 was very nice but the remainder of the teams 25 pt total was not. D.Bress, the fnal double digit scorer, led the futility with 13 and was followed by WRs W.Walkers 6 & M.Colstons 3. Lastly, PK P.Dawson contributed a paltry 2 while TE D.Lee and RB R.Dayne combined for 0.7! After having avg. 179 in their two playoff wins scoring 112 in the championship is a dissapointment but the 'Canes two year run has been anything but.

Congrats to Milo on his championship year and congrats to Brian for another winning year!
Also, congrats to the KGB and Miller High Lifes for their 2007 winnings and congrats to evryone for another competitive season of fantasy football.
